Labor Day Fun

With many around the country enjoying a day off from work residents in the Southern Tier have plenty of options for activities.  The Binghamton Mets play their final game of the season at NYSEG Stadium at 1:05 PM.  it is the final game for team mascots Buddy the Bee and Ballwinkle.  The B-Mets will announce a new nickname in October and with the new name will come a new mascot(s).

The Johnson City Field Days run throughout the day at Northside Park on Harry L. Drive. There will be plenty of food and entertainment available. The Field Days conclude with a fireworks show scheduled for 9:30 PM.

The 97th Annual Greene Labor Day Picnic is going on throughout the day at the Ball Flats in Greene.  Festivities began with a parade through town.  There will be food and music throughout the afternoon as well.
