Appearing on the March 14 edition of the weekly, local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up, Roy Williams of the Kopernik Space and Education Center in Vestal touches on highlights of a very long list of spring a summer programs.

Many programs are available for kids during the Spring Break from school, including a session on the Maker's Movement that puts technology into the hands of more people.

The Girl Power program attracts girls to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in fun ways that benefit them in their everyday lives with a better understanding on how the technology they use every day actually works.

Friday programs for the entire family are specifically geared to the dates including'Explosion of Life: Vernal Pools" that explores the earliest signs of spring, which takes place, oddly enough, on March 20, the Vernal Equinox.

At the very end of the program, we discover Roy Williams has a surprising talent! Tune in at 12:10 p.m. March 14 to find out what it is.
