The station on Barlow Road is located just off Upper Court Street and is near an Interstate 81 interchange.

Chicago-based Trillium CNG and Mirabito Energy Products of Binghamton joined together to open the fueling facility.

Two companies with Broome County operations plan to use the fueling station for some of their trucks. Willow Run Foods and Frito-Lay have indicated they'll utilize the site for their CNG-powered vehicles.

Mirabito Energy Products officials indicated more CNG fueling stations could open in the region as demand for natural gas for vehicles rises.
