Another Drug Ring Kingpin is Sentenced Under Plea Deal

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Another member of a major heroin distribution ring is headed to prison.

35 year old David Mikulski pleaded guilty last year to felony criminal sale of a controlled substance for participating in the distribution organization in the Binghamton area allegedly led by Terrence “Money” Wise.

He’s been sentenced to eight years in State Prison and three years parole. The heroin ring reportedly involved sales totaling over $100,000.

A total of nine people were charged in the case, several of them, especially Wise, charged as a drug kingpin for the first time ever in Broome County. That carries a potential for a stiffer sentence.

Unlike other defendants, Wise has repeatedly turned down plea deal offers.
