Kaloust Bearcat Open at Events Center

The Seventh Annual Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open was held November 8 at the Events Center on campus at Binghamton University.  The event drew over 500 wrestlers from over 30 schools and clubs around the East.  The day-long tournament featured as many as ten matches going on at once.

The Bearcats had two wrestlers finish in third place and another in fourth place.  At the 184-pound weight class Steven Schneider nailed a pair of major decisions to highlight his third place finish.   At 165 Anthony  DePrez  began his day with two wins and went on to finish in third place.  Capturing a fourth place finish was Vincent DePrez in the 157 pound weight class.
