Bingamton Bearcat standout Kai Moon has been named the America East Women's Basketball Player of the Week.  This is the fourth time this season that she has won the award.  In a pair of games last week Moon averaged 20.5 points per game and grabbed 4.5 rebounds.  She scored 20 points versus Stony Brook and 21 more against Vermont to pace the Bearcats' attack.

Moon joins another BU great in Imani Watkins who earned Player of the Week honors on four different occasions.  Moon not only leads all scorers in America East but also ranks 10th in the country averaging 20.2 points per game.  Moon also leads America East in free throw percentage at .825 and steals with 2.4 per contest.

Moon leads the Bearcats into action at UMass Lowell on Wednesday night.  Game time is 7:00 with air on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
