July 4th Celebrations

On this July 4th holiday Americans are celebrating all around the nation.  In the Southern Tier of New York and the Northern Tier of Pa. there are plenty of events that are being held to celebrate Independence Day.

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies ushered in the holiday with a huge fireworks show after their home game last (Monday) night.  Today (July 4) there are two large events going on til dark.

In Endwell Highland Park is the site of their big July 4th Extravaganza.  There was a race this morning, vendors and live entertainment throughout the afternoon and evening and then a massive fireworks show scheduled at 9:30 as the day ends.

In Montrose there was a morning fun run, a chicken barbecue throughout the day, vendors on The Green and fireworks at dark. The weather has been ideal with sunshine and temperatures getting into the 80's.
