Johnson City Traffic Stop Leads to Pot Charge

An Owego man is being charged with criminal possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in Johnson City.

Broome County Sheriff's Officials say 22 year old Randy Johns reportedly disobeyed a traffic light on Harry L. Drive November 11th. 

Deputies say they could smell the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle and found 3.75 ounces of pot.

Johns was issued a ticket to appear in Johnson City Court at a later date.
