Johnson City Teen Arrested For Identity Theft

A Johnson City teenager has been arrested by the Broome County Sheriff's Department in connection with an identity theft case.

Sheriff's officials say that 19-year-old Taylor Roche is accused of stealing a credit card from a Town of Binghamton resident.  Roche then assumed the person's identity to purchase merchandise on the credit card at a Town of Vestal business.

Roche was arraigned in the Town of Maine Court and was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
