Johnson City Teen Accused In Larcenies

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a series of reported thefts from vehicles in Johnson City.

Authorities say Angel Alicea has been charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He also faces two counts of petit larceny.

Investigators say Alicea is accused of entering parked vehicles on June 10 and June 20.

Johnson City police say they received a report of a person going through cars on the afternoon of June 20.

Alicea was arraigned in village court and ordered held in Broome County Jail.
