Authorities say the meth lab was discovered by a New York State Police trooper based in Endwell.

Investigators say Trooper Curtis Thompson came across the illicit drug-making operation at 71 Crocker Avenue. Thompson was at the residence to arrest 20-year-old Desiree Buckley on a petit larceny warrant issued by Binghamton City Court.

Police say Buckley was charged in connection with the purported meth lab, as was 22-year-old Joshua Diaz, who also lives in the Crocker Aveneue apartment. The third suspect was 16-year-old Stanley Conklin, who lives on Main Street in Johnson City.

Buckley, Diaz and Conklin face felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine. They were arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.

The State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team removed dangerous materials associated with the meth lab.

Police say seven ounces of meth oil, five grams of methamphetamine and some pills were confiscated. Drug paraphernalia and ingredients used to make meth also were seized.
