Johnson City Man Pleads Guilty in Fatal April, 2012 Shooting

A Johnson City man is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in the killing of another man in April of last year.

23 year old Derrick Mann has pleaded guilty to manslaughter for fatally shooting 20 year old Genesis Lee on Grand Avenue and injuring another man and woman during a fight April 20^th, 2012 at the Corner of Grand Avenue and St. Charles Street.

When he was indicted in November of last year, Mann was charged with second degree murder, attempted murder, two counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He entered a guilty plea only to manslaughter.

Sentencing is set for December 13.
