Johnson City Man Found With 2.5 Pounds of Pot

A Johnson City man is facing felony charges after police say they smelled marijuana in his vehicle.

Village Police say 20 year old Florian Gjiza was found to have two and a half pounds of pot, ecstacy, prescription cough syrup, hydrocodone, liquid THC and concentrated cannabis as well as Chucka Sticks in his possession.  Around $3,220 was also recovered.

Gjiza is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony criminal possession of marijuana as well as misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was sent to the Broome County jail without bail.
