Johnson City Man Convicted on Four Drug Counts
A 41-year-old Johnson City man faces up to 12 years in prison after he was found guilty on four drug-related charges in a Broome County Court trial.
According to the district attorney's office, Salih Shabazz had been accused of possessing heroin with the intent to sell. He was arrested February 26 at a Harrison Street residence.
Shabazz was convicted by Judge Kevin Dooley in a three-day bench trial. Sentencing was scheduled for September 28.
