Johnson City police say a village man has been arrested after he was accused of subjecting someone to sexual contact by forcible compulsion.

Authorities say 27-year-old Henry Robinson of First Street was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony. He also faces a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Investigators say Robinson was arrested Monday in connection with an incident that was said to have occurred the previous day.

Robinson was arraigned in Johnson City village court. He was sent to Broome County Jail pending further court action.
