A Johnson City man is facing several felony counts after Village Police say they stopped him on Hudson Street for a traffic infraction.

Police say they determined 52 year old Michael Stiles was intoxicated and a Drug Recognition Expert from the Vestal Police was called in to aid in the investigation.

Stiles is charged with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs, felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle as well as infractions of driving an uninspected vehicle, having view obstructed and failure to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of a change of address.

Authorities say the drunk and drugged driving charges are felonies since Stiles was convicted for DWI within the last ten years.
