Johnson City Man Charged in Stabbing

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]An arrest has been made in connection with a stabbing in Johnson City.

Authorities say 46-year-old Roberto Robles of Johnson City was taken into custody June 25.

Robles was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Detectives say Robles is accused of using a knife to stab a man in the back just after 2 a.m.

A news release from Johnson City did not indicate where the stabbing occurred.

Police reported the injured man was taken to Wilson Medical Center for treatment.

Robles was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
