Johnson City Man Charged After Vehicle Hits Buildings
Police say a driver was drunk when the vehicle he was operating struck two buildings in Johnson City.
Authorities say 29-year-old Robert Snyder of Johnson City was trying to pull into a driveway on Broad Street when his vehicle hit the buildings.
Investigators believe the same vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Binghamton a short time earlier.
Snyder was charged with felony driving while intoxicated. Police say he faces a felony count because of a prior DWI conviction in the past decade.
Snyder was arraigned in Johnson City village court and released pending further court action.
