Johnson City Man Accused of Robbery

A Johnson City man is charged with felony robbery. 

Village police say 32 year old Phone Chansavath is accused of threatening another man with a knife, forcing him to drive to an automatic teller machine to get him money.

Officials say the victim saw a police officer on Main Street and flagged him down. 

Chansavath was sent to the Broome County Jail.
