Johnson City Man Accused Of Killing Neighbor

Johnson City police say a 43-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a woman who was a neighbor in a two-unit home on Brown Street.

Authorities say Christopher Davis of 36 Brown Street is suspected of killing 50-year-old Patricia LaCaprara.

Investigators say Davis was taken into custody a few hours after LaCaprara's body was discovered.

Police believe LaCaprara was killed during the course of a burglary.

LaCaprara's body was found in her first-floor apartment. Police say Davis lived on the second floor of the house.
