Johnson City Man Accused in Metal Pipe Attack

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Johnson City Police say a Village man is charged with felony assault and felony criminal possession of a weapon.

Authorities say 27 year old Loren Loftus is accused of hitting another man in the head with a metal pipe outside a home on Floral Avenue last week.

The victim of the September 14^th attack was taken to the Wilson Hospital Emergency Room for treatment.

Loftus was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
