Johnson City Flyover Repairs Rescheduled

Pavement repair work has been rescheduled for a section of the Route 201 Flyover in Johnson City.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the northbound driving lane of the roadway near the roundabout at Riverside Drive will be closed for several hours for the project.

The lane closure now is planned from 11 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.

Deteriorating concrete has resulted in a rough driving surface for the thousands of motorists who use the connector between Vestal and the Oakdale Mall area daily.

While the northbound driving lane will be out of service for the repair work, other flyover lanes are to remain open.
