A Johnson City man is accused of having over 100 bags of heroin in his possession.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials pulled over a vehicle for having a window tint that was too dark shortly after midnight February 6 on Old Front Street in the Town of Dickinson.

When 35 year old Qulon Cooper, who is originally from the Brooklyn and is now living in Johnson City, was being taken to the County Correctional Facility, he was seen leaning forward with his hands down the back of his pants. 87 bags of heroin were found in the seat and another ten bags were discovered in Cooper’s underwear.

He’s charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, driving without a license and a window tint violation.

Authorities say they also seized marijuana and hydrocodone pills.
