Two people are facing charges in connection with the knife-point robbery of a Johnson City pharmacy March 11th.23 year old Susan Allen and 32 year old Shawn Swiers, both of Johnson City, were arrested 24 hours after the investigation started into the robbery of the CVS Pharmacy on Harry L. Drive.

Police said a woman entered the store at around 7:30 p.m. and threatened an employee with a large knife. There were no injuries.

Village police say both were charged with felony robbery.

The authorities say Swiers was recently released from the Broome County Jail and was awaiting sentencing on domestic assault charges in connection with an incident last November.

Allen was additionally charged with felony evidence tampering.

The couple was sent to the Broome County Jail to await further Broome County Court action.
