Johnson City Cautioning About Water Repair Solicitations

Johnson City is again cautioning residents that solicitations offering a water system repair protection program for service lines is not part of the government's water system program.

American Water Resources has been mailing solicitations to village customers offering an insurance-like program for maintenance and repair of water service lines.

J.C. water customers are not obligated to accept the offer. Still, the costs of any necessary repairs from the water shut off location to the building are the responsibility of the customer.
