It's that time of year... Alternate side parking regulations are starting around the region, including in the village of Johnson City.

The cold-weather parking rules take effect in Johnson City every November 1.

According to Johnson City police, between 2:00 and 6:00 a.m. all vehicles should be parked on the side of the street that corresponds with the odd or even house number.

For example, on November 1 at 2:00 a.m., all vehicles are to be parked on the odd number side of the street.

Warning tickets will be issued by village police for the first three days of alternate street parking.

After that, violators of the seasonal regulations may expect to receive of parking ticket.

According to a news release issued Wednesday by the police department, the alternate street parking rules in Johnson City are to be in effect through March 13.
