Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra energized their fans during a pair of afternoon concerts on Sunday at Tioga Downs Casino. The 18-time Grammy Award winner played a variety of songs including some new selections they have just released.

Joining Jimmy Sturr for many of the group's vocals was Eddie Biegaj, a 2014 International Polka Hall of Fame (IPA) inductee.  Biegaj was a founder of the group "Toledo Polkamotion" and later "Crusade".  He also is a trained opera singer.

The Jimmy Sturr Orchestra performed two shows at Tioga Downs. They have toured all over the world and they have performed numerous times in the area over the years.  Their appearances include Carnegie Hall and the Palace of Culture in Warsaw, Poland. Sturr continues to be featured on his weekly radio and television shows.

He is a native New Yorker and has called Florida, New York home for many years.  He and his orchestra have also performed at Spiediefest on several occasions.
