JC Woman Charged with DWI Following Crash

A Johnson City woman faces DWI and other charges after the car she was driving wound up in a ditch.

Authorities say 35-year-old Jennifer Sullivan was arrested Tuesday afternoon after the crash on East Maine Road in the Town of Union.

According to state police, Sullivan's blood alcohol content was measured at 0.18 percent.

Investigators say they determined Sullivan had been "highly intoxicated" before driving the vehicle into the ditch.

Sullivan was charged with aggravated driviving while intoxicated. She also was issued other traffic tickets. She was ordered to appear in Union town court on August 23.
