Emergency Services officials around the region are reporting isolated slippery conditions mainly confined to the rural roads and higher elevations.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 10 a.m. February 24 but most precipitation in the region was said to be in the form of sprinkles or light rain rather than freezing rain or snow.

There have been no reports of serious crashes and most agencies said they had no reports of incidents overnight.

Several school districts in Pennsylvania opted for a 2 hour delay while Wayne Highlands, in the Poconos had to close due to icy conditions.
