Information Sought in Fatal Sidney Crash

New York State Police are again appealing for information concerning a fatal crash that happened at around 6:30 a.m. May 20 on Interstate 88 east in the Town of Sidney.

A Lorton, Virginia woman died in the crash after the vehicle she was driving left the north side of the highway, then traveled into the median where it rolled several times.

Several people, including two young children who were not properly restrained in child safety seats in the vehicle, were ejected.

State Police ask anyone who saw the accident or who had seen the 2002 Ford Escape being driven prior to the crash to call them at (607) 561-7400.
