Broome County Sheriff’s officials are now releasing more information about a chase through the City of Binghamton February 4 that ended with a vehicle crashing into a pole and another vehicle on Glenwood Avenue at Lake Avenue.

Authorities say at 11:39 p.m. a Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on Felters Road for speeding and for passing other vehicles on Conklin Avenue.

After crashing on Glenwood Avenue, driver, 32 year old Roger Wilson of Binghamton was arrested and found to be in possession of heroin and packaging material.

A passenger in the car took off on foot and was apprehended after a brief chase.

32 year old Dajuan Davis of Vestal was arrested for obstructing governmental administration.

Wilson is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor counts of criminally possessing drug paraphernalia and fleeing a police officer in a vehicle as well as 18 vehicle and traffic violations.

There were no injuries, but the block around the Speedway gas station between Lake and Belknap Avenues was closed and Time Warner customers were without service for several hours.
