Infant Dies in Crash in Wysox

Pennsylvania State Police say a baby is dead and five people are being treated for injuries following a crash Sunday, July 10 on State Route 187 in Wysox.

Officials say a car in which the infant was a passenger apparently ran a red light and hit the front of a vehicle traveling through the intersection.

The baby was killed while all five people in the other vehicle were hospitalized.  Their names and conditions have not been released.

Officials did say one of the people in the vehicle had to be airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
