A Johnson City man is under indictment in connection with a Saint Patrick’s Parade Day crash in Binghamton that cost a 20 year old Long Island woman losing part of a leg.

25 year old Duane Felton Junior is accused of causing the car/pedestrian crash that pinned Meghan Madden of Wantagh between the car and the Court Street Bridge railing, crushing her leg.

Police said Felton was a passenger in the vehicle driven by 22 year old Nutanie Saysanvong of Johnson City when the pair was arguing and Felton allegedly grabbed the wheel.  Police accuse Felton of intentionally directing the vehicle into a group of pedestrians on the sidewalk of the bridge at around 10 p.m. March 7th.

Saysanavong was charged with drunk driving.

Felton is charged with felony assault and reckless endangerment as well as two misdemeanor assault charges.

Madden had been in Binghamton visiting friends when she was pinned in the crash.  Two other pedestrians in the group were hurt.
