Indictment Handed Down in Johnson City Murder

A man with a long criminal history in California is now under indictment for the killing of his neighbor in Broome County in July.

43 year old Christopher Davis is charged with two counts of second degree murder, first degree murder and robbery in the slaying of 50 year old Patricia LaCaprara July 8th in her Brown Street, Johnson City home.

Johnson City Police accuse Davis of robbing his downstairs neighbor and killing her.

LaCaprara died of traumatic head injuries.

Davis was picked up in the Town of Binghamton about a day after the murder and police said they had recovered some of LaCaprar's property when they arrested Davis.
