Ice Cream Social Helps Endwell Volunteer Fire Company

The annual Ice Cream Social to benefit the O.L. Davis  Endwell Volunteer Fire Company on Country Club Road was held last (Wednesday) night.  The event draws people from all over the area and proceeds benefit the Fire Company and their many activities around the community.

Those who attend get to enjoy their choice of vanilla, chocolate or strawberry ice cream plus a piece of cake.  Many bring the whole family out to enjoy the treats.  While most people eat inside the fire station many others enjoy take out and those with the biggest appetites eat in and also take some home.

There are raffles and gift baskets available to win.  Youngsters and adults can get a look at some of the gear and equipment firefighters use.  They can also find out more about becoming a volunteer firefighter.
