Hundreds of Broome County voters are apparently not happy with their candidate choices in the off-year election, going for the “none of the above" option.

As can be expected, the greatest number of write-ins came in the race for the 52nd New York State Senate seat with 511 voters taking pen to paper at the bottom of the ballot.

Only 31 people wrote in their own choices in the hotly contested District Attorney race and far fewer for municipal and Broome County Judge contests.
