Several hundred people lined the streets of Endwell on September 11th for a parade with a crumpled beam from the World Trade Center.

Dozens of first responders including many fire departments from western Broome County and the Union Volunteer Emergency Square took part.  Police departments were also represented including the Sheriff's Department, New York State Police and Village Police.

The procession followed Hooper Road with lights flashing and sirens blaring as spectators were waving U.S. flags.

The World Trade Center beam was placed in the Remembrance Garden at Highland Park during a candlelight service.  The garden is a memorial to the victims of 9/11, including several former residents of the town that were killed at the World Trade Center.
