Hundreds Of Dogs Expected At Apalachin Show

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

A three-day dog show is expected to draw many canine enthusiasts to Tioga County.

The Hickories Circuit Dog Show will run Friday through Sunday at the Apalachin Firemen’s Field Day Grounds. Show hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Organizer Vicki Kubik says more than 800 dogs will be featured at the event.

Kubik says it’s a family-oriented show that will be held rain or shine.

The Southern Tier Canine Police Association plans to present a demonstration each day at noon.

The dog show site is located on Wayside Lane, a short distance from the Apalachin exit of Route 17.

The event is presented by the Susque-Nango Kennel Club and the Tioga County Kennel Club.
