Children and even dogs packed the Discovery Center hands-on children's museum at Ross Park in Binghamton October 25th for their Halloween Spooktacular and first ever Doggie Halloween Costume Parade.

The Center is celebrating its 30th birthday and has held several events for both little and big kids throughout the year.

The October 25th event featured spooky crafts like making eyeballs out of egg cartons, a Shake Your Bones Dance Party and the dog parade through the museum that had children laughing with the pups over their Dr. Evil & Mini Me, Mountain Dog being ridden by a black cat and Wizard of Oz costumes (complete with a flying monkey).

There are still lots of special activities planned for upcoming weeks in addition to the on-going programs at the museum that both entertain and educate.
