House Fire Investigated in West Corners

Investigators are looking into the cause of a two-alarm fire that damaged a home in West Corners June 26.

The blaze on Leon Drive was called in at around 3:30 p.m. and responders reported heavy smoke and flames at the rear of the house when they arrived.

No one was home at the time.

There were no serious injuries reported, but firefighters had to deal with hot temperatures and required breaks from the heat.
