House Fire Impacts Access to Lourdes Hospital

Fire and police crews have been on the scene of a house fire kitty-corner across from Lourdes Hospital on Riverside Drive.

The first crews responded to the single-family home near Laurel Avenue shortly after 5 this morning and reported the fire was under control about a half hour later.

Riverside Drive was shut down about from Beethoven Street to Laurel Avenue and the side streets including Beethoven were being closed as well, including Beethoven, Bennett Avenue, Rotary Avenue, Johnson Avenue and Laurel Avenue.

There have been no reports of injuries.

The house fire was a block to the west from Danielle House.
