Horizons Bearcats Hoop Talk Set For River Bistro Tonight

Binghamton head basketball coaches Nicole Scholl and Tommy Dempsey will appear on tonight’s Horizons Federal Credit Union Binghamton Bearcats Hoop Talk from 7-8 PM at the River Bistro in the Doubletree by Hilton in downtown Binghamton.  The show will be broadcast live on News Radio 1290 WNBF with host Roger Neel.

Both coaches will summarize the past week on their schedule and preview the final week of the regular season in America East competition,  Both teams last played on Saturday.  The women dropped a 74-48 decision at Vermont while the men topped UMBC with a 72-70 victory.

Each team has two games remaining in regular season action.  The women have home games on Wednesday and Saturday.  Wednesday at 7 PM the Bearcats host the Hartford Hawks. Binghamton then closes out the regular season with a 2 PM game Saturday versus UMBC at the Events Center.

The men’s basketball team travels to Hartford Thursday night at 7 to meet the Hawks and then wraps up the regular campaign Sunday at 2 PM versus Vermont also at the Events Center.

Fans are invited to visit the River Bistro and take-in tonight’s show.  Coach Dempsey will hold a live audience participation segment of the show when he takes questions about the team. Fans can also email questions for Coach Dempsey at roger@wnbf.com.
