Binghamton City School District officials are discussing compliance with the Dignity For All Students Act that is intended to help fight bullying.

In addition to conversation about cyber-bullying and what is seen as traditional forms of bullying like in-person intimidation, adjustments to the school dress code have also come up in a public hearing about the district code of conduct.

Officials are considering a ban on certain items of clothing like 'hoodies' or other items that block a student's face.

A vote on the code of conduct and compliance with the Dignity For All Students Act is expected June 18.
