Thousands of Binghamton University Alumni and their families will return to campus this weekend for Homecoming.  There will be events all around the campus and plenty of activities involving Binghamton University athletics.

Festivities begin with the BU Basketball Showcase tomorrow (Friday) night at 7 PM.  The men's and women's basketball teams will be introduced and there will be a slam dunk contest to close the evening.

Saturday, the Varsity Club will hold its second annual Homecoming tailgate party in the parking lot next to the Events Center.  Catered by Moe's Southwest Grill  the party begins at 3 PM and continues until 6 PM.  Also set for 3-6 PM is the Tent Sale inside the Events Center.  Shoppers can choose from a wide selection of Bearcats' merchandise and "game worn" gear.  At 6 PM the Binghamton Beracats men's soccer team hosts Vermont at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  BU is 2-0 in America East play.

On Sunday the Binghamton women's soccer team hosts New Hampshire beginning at 1 PM.   Also set for a 1 PM start is BU's volleyball team.  The Bearcats host UMBC at West Gym.

Director of Athletics at Binghamrton University, Patrick Elliott, was a guest this morning with Roger Neel on WNBF First News,  Elliott previewed the upcoming weekend.  Tomorrow morning at 8:10 men's soccer coach Paul Marco joins Roger in- studio to preview the Bearcats match against Vermont Saturday at 6 PM.
