It's Homecoming Weekend at Binghamton University and there will be lots to keep sports fans busy.  Several thousand alumni will return to campus and take part in numerous activities.

Friday night the BU Basketball Showcase will take place at the Events Center.  Doors open at 6:30 PM and the festivities begin at 7.  Fans will get a chance to see this year's men's and women's basketball teams scrimmage and have the chance to win various prizes.  The first 1,500 fans will get free souvenir t-shirts

Also Friday the BU volleyball team hosts Stony Brook at 5 PM and then will match-up against UMBC Saturday at 4 PM.  On Saturday evening at 6 the BU men's soccer team hosts UMass Lowell at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

There will be a Tailgate party in the Events Center parking lot Saturday from 3-6 PM.  The newly established Varsity Club we be part of the Tailgate celebration and all former BU athletes are invited to visit.

Many sports are holding alumni games and the swimming and diving teams hold their annual Green-White meet at 11 AM Saturday at the West Gym Pool.  Binghamton University Director of Athletics Patrick Elliott will join Roger Neel Thursday morning at 8:10 on New Radio 1290 WNBF with more on this year's Homecoming events.
