The Maine-Endwell Spartans host Susquehanna Valley in high school football  today at 1:30 (airtime at 1:25 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) at Spartan Stadium in Endwell.  It's Homecoming for the Spartans with a parade up Hooper Road kicking off the day's festivities.

Maine-Endwell comes into today's contest riding a 30-game winning streak.  The Spartans clobbered Norwich 49-7 last Saturday as Darnell Woolfolk ran for a pair of touchdowns and quarterback Kyle Gallagher completed eight of 12 pass attempts and a pair of TD's to lead the way to victory.

The Sabers are 2-3 after dropping a 44-33 decision to Owego last weekend. Star running back Marquis Jackson  gained 78 yards on six carries before leaving the game with an arm injury.  He is not expected to play today.  In his place Lain Zembek did the bulk of the running for SV and ended up with 170 yards gained on 25 carries.
