The 16th annual Holiday Traditions Craft Show got underway this (Friday) afternoon at West Gym in Binghamton University.   Organizers say there are over 150 vendors with various items for sale. There are items for the holidays as well as many that are suitable for anytime of the year.

Besides a variety of items to decorate the home or give as a unique gift to someone there are plenty of food treats as well.  Baked breads, pies and cookies are plentiful while fudge, sweet rolls and brownies are available to purchase.

In addition to the crafts and home decor items there are plenty of food options from which to choose.  Those who attend are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to CHOW.  Canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, soups and other foods that can serve as a meal for an entire family are especially needed.  Monetary donations can also be made at the CHOW display located near the main entrance to West Gym. In addition a portion of the proceeds from the event will go to CHOW.

The event which is arranged by G & H Promotions ran from 3-8 P.M on Friday and will open at 9 A.M. on Saturday and run until 4:00 P.M.  Admission is $5.00 per person at the door.  Parking is free on campus on Saturday.
