Family Planning of South Central New York, Inc. is marking National HIV Testing Day by offering free, confidential testing and counseling through July 1 at their health centers in Binghamton, Norwich, Oneonta, Sidney and Walton.

The 20 minute tests will be performed during the Family Planning regular health center hours.

In support of the effort, Binghamton City Councilman Conrad Taylor had his finger pricked for the test and said the program is important to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS.

Information about programs offered by Family Planning of South Central New York can be found at www.fpscny.org or by calling (607) 723-8306.
