The battle over a plan to develop a natural gas compressor station near Hillcrest and Port Dickinson in the Town of Fenton continues.

Resident turned out again January 23 for a Town Zoning Board meeting where officials were to consider the future of the project from NG Advantage.

Unlike some past meetings, where comment from residents was said to be restricted, it appears the board entertained several comments from the floor on both sides of the issue.

The project has been placed on hold over court challenges filed on several fronts.

The Town Zoning Board is expected to hold another meeting February 5.  A vote on the project could come at that time.
