High School Football Weekend

The regular season of high school football reaches the midway point this weekend as teams play their fourth game.  News Radio 1290 WNBF will be on site for two broadcasts this weekend.

Friday night the Binghamton Patriots host Newburgh at 7:00 PM at Alumni Stadium in a non-section 4 game.  The Patriots are 2-1 while the Goldbacks are 1-2.  Last weekend Binghamton shutout Corning 28-0 to earn their second win.

On Saturday afternoon a battle of unbeatens clash at Forks Stadium as the Vestal Golden Bears travel to meet the Chenango Forks Blue Devils at 1:30.  Both teams sport 3-0 records.  The Forks clobbered Waverly last Friday night by a final score of 48-14.  The Golden Bears stayed undefeated as they topped Horseheads 23-20.  Vestal is playing in Class 'A' competition while Chenango Forks is competing in Class 'B'.

Airtime for Friday night's game is set for 6:50 while Saturday's airtime is 1:20 PM.  Both games can also be heard online at wnbf.com and via Radio Pup, a free app available for your smart phone.
